Ingredients

  • Almonds: 1 ½ c
    slivered
  • Water: ½ c
    warm
  • Olive oil: 2 tbsp
  • Nutritional yeast: 2 tbsp
  • Fresh lemon juice: 2 tbsp
  • Salt: ½ tsp

Cookware

  • High speed blender

Method

1.

Place the almonds in a high speed blender and pulse into crumbs.

  • almonds: 1.5 cups

Add the water, olive oil, nutritional yeast, fresh lemon juice, salt, and blend until thick and pasty, with a ricotta-like texture.

Use a rubber spatula to transfer to a well-sealed container, and chill until ready to use.
